The main fabric is made with Toray's advanced technology, Yoroi-fu®, an ultra-high-strength nylon fabric. Unlike conventional 66 nylon, this fabric uses the world's highest-strength nylon yarn, achieved through the use of high-viscosity polymer and spinning techniques. Furthermore, it is made with a material made entirely in Japan, resulting in a stronger and more durable fabric than conventional 66 nylon. The Yoroi-fu® 420d nylon surface is treated with a durable, ultra-water-repellent finish, while the reverse side is coated with a different three-layer coating for increased lightness and waterproofness. The accessory fabric is made with INVISTA's 1680d Cordura ballistic® nylon, which boasts approximately five times the abrasion and tear strength and durability of standard nylon, and is PVC-coated on the reverse for added strength and waterproofness. The accessory leather is vegetable-tanned eco-nume cow leather, which has passed the Japan Leather Technology Association's 13-standard hazardous substance test (JES) and is completely free of hexavalent chromium, a substance harmful to the human body. The front pocket zipper is made of YKK EXCELLA, with each element meticulously polished on all sides, and the parts are made as light as possible by using as few metals as possible. The triangular name tag has retroreflective properties, ensuring safety at night. There is also space to store a laptop or tablet.
